Cinnamon Roll Donuts
Ingredients
- flaxseed (2 tablespoons)
- water (5 tablespoons)
- almond flour (1/2 cup)
- tapioca or almond flour (2 tablespoons)
- coconut flour (1/4 cup)
- baking powder (1 teaspoon)
- cinnamon (1 1/2 teaspoons)
- Kosher salt, as desired
- extra-ripe banana, mashed (1/2 cup)
- applesauce (1/2 cup)
- melted coconut oil (3 tablespoons)
- vanilla extract (1 1/2 teaspoons)
- almond butter (1/2 cup)
- maple syrup (3 tablespoons)
- molasses (1 tablespoon)
- Nonstick cooking spray
- powdered monk fruit sweetener (or regular powdered sugar) (1 cup)
- vanilla extract (1/4 teaspoon)
- Plant-based milk, as necessary
- melted vegan butter or coconut oil (2 tablespoons)
- cashew butter (2 tablespoons)
- coconut sugar (1 tablespoon)
- cinnamon (1/2 tablespoon)

Instructions
Step 1
1. Install the SearPlate in the bottom level of the unit, then close the door. Select RAPID BAKE, set temperature to 350 °F, and set time to 15 minutes. Press the setting dial to begin preheating.

2. In a small bowl, combine the flaxseed and water, then set aside.
Step 3
3. In a large bowl, add all the flours, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until combined.
Step 4
4. In a separate large bowl, add the banana, applesauce, coconut oil, vanilla extract, almond butter, maple syrup, and molasses. Whisk until combined.
Step 5
5. Add the flour mixture and flaxseed mixture to the wet ingredients and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
Step 6
6. Spray a donut pan with nonstick cooking spray, then evenly fill each donut mold 3/4 of the way with the prepared batter.

7. When unit is preheated, open the door and place the donut pan on the SearPlate. Close the door to begin cooking.

8. While the donuts bake, prepare the icing. In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sweetener or sugar and vanilla extract. Add plant-based milk 1 tablespoon at a time until desired thickness is achieved.

9. When cooking is complete, carefully remove the donut pan and place on top of oven. Let the donuts cool, then dip into the prepared icing. Transfer the donuts to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

10. To prepare the swirl topping, combine all ingredients in a small bowl, then transfer to a piping bag. Drizzle each donut with the prepared swirl topping.
