Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs
Ingredients
- beef hotdogs (4)
- bacon strips (4)
- cooking spray
- bakery hotdog buns, split and toasted (4)
- red onion, chopped (1/2)
- sauerkraut, rinsed and drained (1 cup)
Instructions
Step 1
1. Place cook and crisp basket in pot. Close Crisping lid. Select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 360F, and set time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
Step 2
2. Wrap each hotdog with one strip of bacon, securing it with toothpicks as needed
Step 3
3. Once unit has preheated, open lid and coat the basket with cooking spray. Place the hotdogs in the basket in a single layer. Close crisping lid.
Step 4
4. Select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 360 F, and set time to 15 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin
Step 5
5. After 10 minutes, open the lid and doneness. If needed, continue cooking until it reaches your desired doneness.
Step 6
6. When cooking is complete, place the hotdogs in the buns with the onion and sauerkraut. Top, if desired, with condiments of your choice, such as yellow mustard, ketchup, or mayonnaise.
