Homemade Granola
Ingredients
- old-fashioned oats (4 cups)
- raw nuts (pecans, walnuts, sliced almonds, etc.) (1 1/2 cups)
- unsweetened coconut flakes
- kosher salt (1 teaspoon)
- ground cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
- coconut oil, melted (1/2 cup)
- honey (1/2 cup)
- vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- fruit pulp (apple, orange, pineapple, or berry) (1/2 cup)
- Large Bowl
- Parchment Paper
- Rubber Spatula
Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350â° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
2. In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, coconut flakes, salt, and cinnamon.

3. Add the coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract, and fruit pulp to the oat mixture and stir until evenly coated. Pour the mixture onto the prepared pan and use a spatula to spread it in an even layer.

4. Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through cooking.

5. Let granola cool completely before serving—it will crisp up as it cools.

6. Store granola in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
