  • Large Bowl

Instructions

Step 1
1. Add all apple butter chutney ingredients into the Nutri Ninja® Cup in the order listed. Select BLEND and process until the sauce is combined and smooth. Transfer sauce to a bowl and season with salt to taste. Set aside.

Step 2
2. Pour ½ cup water into the pot. Place potatoes in the Cook & Crisp™ Basket and place basket in pot. Assemble pressure lid, making sure the pressure release valve is in the SEAL position. Select PRESSURE and set HIGH. Set time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

Step 3
3. When pressure cooking is complete, allow pressure to quick release by moving the pressure release valve to the VENT position. Carefully remove the lid when the unit has finished releasing pressure.

Step 4
4. Allow potatoes to cool long enough to handle. Remove from the basket. Then, use a knife to peel the potatoes. Chop the potatoes into ¼' pieces and place in a large bowl and season with the granulated sugar, cayenne pepper, cilantro, and salt. Add the lemon juice and peas and stir to combine. Set aside.

Step 5
5. Install the dough blade in the 72-ounce Power Pitcher. Add the flour, cumin seeds, lemon juice, canola oil, salt, and water. Install the lid, then select DOUGH and press START/STOP.

Step 6
6. Remove dough from pitcher, form into a ball, then place in a large bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and allow to rise for 40 minutes.

Step 7
7. After 40 minutes, divide the dough into 10 equal portions. Roll one dough ball into an oval, about 6 to 7 inches in diameter, then cut it in half.

Step 8
8. With your fingers, apply water to the long side of the oval and bring the two ends together to form a cone, pinch to seal. Using a spoon, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of prepared filling to the samosa, careful to not overfill.

Step 9
9. Apply water along the circumference of the cone and bring the edges together to seal the samosa. It should make a triangle shape. Repeat steps 6 thought 9 with the remaining dough.

Step 10
10. Install the crisper plate in both zones. Brush the samosas with canola oil and place 5 in each basket, then insert the baskets in the unit.

Step 11
11. Select Zone 1, select AIR FRY, set temperature to 375 °F, and set time to 15 minutes. Select MATCH COOK to match Zone 2 settings to Zone 1. Press the START/PAUSE button to begin cooking.

Step 12
12. When cooking is complete, remove baskets from unit. Transfer the samosas to a plate and serve with apple butter chutney.
