Ingredients

  • cream cheese (1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce))
  • granulated sugar (1/3 cup)
  • peppermint extract (1 teaspoon)
  • heavy cream (3/4 cup)
  • whole milk (1 cup)
  • green food coloring (optional) (2-3 drops)
  • whole milk (to desired consistency) (¼-½ cup)
  • mint leaves (5-10)
  • Whipped topping

Utensils needed

  • Large Microwave-Safe Bowl
  • Whisk

Instructions

Step 1
1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, add cream cheese and microwave for 10 seconds. Add the granulated sugar and peppermint extract, and with a whisk or rubber spatula, combine until mixture is smooth.

Step 2
2. Add heavy cream, milk, and food coloring, and whisk until well combined.

Step 3
3. Pour base into an empty CREAMi™ pint. Place storage lid on pint and freeze for 24 hours.

Step 4
4. Remove CREAMi™ pint from freezer and remove lid. Place pint in outer bowl, install Creamerizer™ Paddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

Step 5
5. Select ICE CREAM.

Step 6
6. Pour in desired quantity of milk and mint leaves, and process again using the MILKSHAKE program.

Step 7
7. When processing is complete. Top milkshake with whipped topping and other desired toppings. Serve immediately.
