Cheesy Cheddar Twists

Ingredients
- water, for steaming (1/2 cup)
- puff pastry sheets, at room temperature (1 package (17.3 ounce))
- egg, beaten (1)
- water (1 teaspoon)
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese (1 cup)
- shredded mild white cheddar cheese (1 cup)
- garlic powder (1 tablespoon)
- dried chives (2 tablespoons)
- Kosher salt, as desired
- grated parmesan cheese (¼ cup)

Instructions
Step 1
1. Pour 1/2 cup water into the Combi Cooker Pan and place crisper tray on top of water and set aside.
Step 2
2. Using a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface, roll out one puff pastry sheet to form a large square (about 14-inches by 14-inches). Repeat with second pastry sheet.
Step 3
3. Combine egg and 1 teaspoon water, and brush egg mixture on one pastry sheet then top with both cheddar cheeses, garlic powder, chives, and salt if desired. Brush other pastry sheet with egg then invert the empty pastry sheet egg side down on top of the cheese mixture. Press down firmly to seal sheets together.
Step 4
4. Using a sharp knife or pizza wheel, cut the pastry sheet into strips, about 1 ½ - inches wide (this should yield roughly 8-10 strips).
Step 5
5. Take the strips one by one holding at each end and twist the strip twice then place onto the crisper tray. Repeat with all strips. Brush each twist with egg and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese. Place Combi Cooker Pan into Level 1, then close the door.
Step 6
6. Flip the Smart Switch to COMBI COOKER, select COMBI CRISP, set temperature to 350 °F and set time to 15 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (unit will steam for approximately 7 minutes).
Step 7
7. When cooking is complete, remove Combi Cooker Pan from the unit and let twists cool for 5-10 minutes then enjoy!
